Volunteer Clean Up Day at Merrick State Park
Come volunteer with the Friends of Merrick State Park (TURTLES) at our spring clean up day. Hot dogs, chips, and water provided for volunteers.
Thursday, May 21st, 2026 (4 pm – 7 pm)
Volunteers should meet at the Merrick State Park office. Please bring gloves, wear close-toed shoes or boots, and be ready to work! You can come for all 3 hours or just some of that time.
Projects include:
Splitting wood,
Painting & staining,
Cleaning canoes & kayaks,
and much more.
