Civil War Day
Join reenactors from the 2nd Minnesota Battery of Light Artillery for a special program on the Civil War. See a full-size replica of a Model 1861 ten pounder Parrott Rifle and learn how the cannon was used. Learn about the soldiers’ life, artillery shells and flags, period music and games, and Civil War era firearms. See a display of quilts made by the women of the Second Battery using period patterns and reproduction fabrics.
Admission is $8 for adults and $5 for students. Museum members get a $2 discount. For more information contact the museum.
