Mondovi, Wisconsin was laid out as a village in 1855, is located on the Buffalo River and hosts the Buffalo County Fair. Mondovi is the eastern gateway to Buffalo County with access from Interstate 94. Exit State Highway 37 at Eau Claire, Wisconsin and head to Mondovi.
Hiking, Biking & More on an old railroad bed, the Buffalo River State Trail passes through Mondovi. This 36.4 mile multi-use trail offers a safe & scenic place for snowmobiling, horseback riding, ATV riding, hiking & biking. The trail runs from Mondovi to Fairchild, Wisconsin.
Recreational Parks are numerous in Mondovi. Mirror Lake Park has a scenic view of the lake, playground equipment, picnic areas & shelters. A public boat landing is located at the park and an accessible fishing pier accommodates anglers & sightseers of all abilities. Sharps Point Park is the site of the Mondovi Veteran’s Memorial and is located along the banks of Mirror Lake. Mondovi’s Tourist Park offers amenities and attractions for all ages with camping and a history museum.
Golf at the Valley Golf Course and you’ll enjoy the rolling hills of Buffalo County. This 18-hole course has a par 70 layout measuring over 6500 yards.

Mirror Lake Ice Fishing Contest
A big draw for winter fun is the annual Ice Fishing Contest held on Mirror Lake each February. Prizes, games, food, beverage, and entertainment give residents and visitors a reason to look forward to winter.

Shamrock Shuffle
An annual event held downtown Mondovi in March around St. Patrick’s Day. A fun evening where local businesses open their doors to show you all what our awesome community has to offer. You’ll find business specials, games, raffles, and even green beer.
June/July
Friendship Days
Join the City of Mondovi at the Grand Parade on July 4th. There will be a kiddie parade followed by the Grand Parade. Vendors will be set up at Mirror Lake with fireworks at dusk over Mirror Lake.
August
Buffalo/Pepin County Fair
The Buffalo-Pepin County Fairgrounds are located in Mondovi! The fair features a carnival, rides, food and drink stands, displays, judging, contests, music, entertainment, and more.

Santa Saturday
