Dairyland Power Cooperative, established in 1941 and headquartered in La Crosse, Wisconsin, is a generation and transmission cooperative serving a four-state area: Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, and Illinois. It provides wholesale electricity to 24 distribution cooperatives and 27 municipal utilities, which in turn supply power to over 750,000 consumers.
